01 — The shoot

What a food shoot with MKD Films covers

Menu and dish photography

Clean, consistent stills of every dish for menus, websites and delivery apps, lit to match across the whole menu.

Hero and campaign shots

Styled, art-directed images for launches, billboards and ads, where one frame has to carry the campaign.

Drinks and cocktails

Bar programmes, cocktails and coffee, with the pour, the garnish and the glassware shot properly.

Social video and Reels

Plating, pours, sizzle and kitchen moments shot vertical-first for Reels and TikTok, with the hook in the first second.

Interiors and atmosphere

The room, the bar, the view and the people, so guests know what the night feels like before they book.

Behind the scenes

Chefs, kitchen and service, captured for stories that build the brand beyond the menu.

02 — Styling

Styled, lit and art-directed, not just photographed

Good food photography is mostly preparation. Before the shoot we build a shot list with your team, agree the look (references, props, surfaces and light) and plan the order of dishes around the kitchen, so every plate hits the set at its best.

  • Food styling for hero dishes when the brief calls for it.
  • Props, surfaces and backgrounds matched to your brand and your room.
  • Consistent lighting, so the whole menu looks like one set.
  • Social crops and video moments written into the shot list from the start.

05 — Rates

Food photography rates in the Philippines: what affects the cost

Food photographers in Manila price by the hour, by the dish or by the day, which makes quotes hard to compare. Before you compare prices, check what is included: styling, retouching, the number of final images, video, and how you are allowed to use them.

  • Number of dishes and set-ups. A consistent menu set-up moves faster than individually styled hero shots.
  • Styling: a food stylist, props and surfaces.
  • Photo only, or photo and video in the same day.
  • On location or in studio.
  • Retouching and the number of final images.
  • Usage: menu and social, or paid ads and out-of-home.

We quote each shoot against a shot list, so you know exactly what you are getting. Send us your menu and what the images are for.

06 — Product

Product photography in Manila

The same team shoots products for beauty, retail and e-commerce brands: packshots on white, lifestyle scenes and short-form video for product pages, marketplaces and ads. If it can be styled and lit, we can make it sell.

07 — FAQ

Food photography FAQs

How much does food photography cost in the Philippines?

It depends on the number of dishes, styling, photo or video, location, retouching and usage. Photographers in Manila price by the hour, the dish or the day, so compare quotes against the same shot list. We quote every shoot against yours.

How many dishes can you shoot in a day?

It depends on how much styling each dish needs. A menu shoot with a consistent set-up moves much faster than a day of styled hero shots. We plan the schedule from your shot list so the kitchen and the camera stay in sync.

Do you provide a food stylist?

When the brief needs one. We bring in food styling for hero and campaign work; for straightforward menu shoots, your kitchen plates and we direct on set.

Can you shoot at our restaurant?

Yes. Most of our F&B shoots happen on location, so the food, the room and the team are all in the frame.

Do you shoot photos for GrabFood and foodpanda?

Yes. We deliver crops sized for delivery apps alongside menu, website and social images.

Can you shoot photo and video at the same time?

Yes. Multi-team shoot days run stills and video in parallel, so one day covers your menu images and your Reels.

Who owns the photos?

Usage rights are agreed in writing in every proposal, including where and how long the images can be used.
