01 — The engine

The F&B growth engine

Restaurant marketing breaks down when content, social media and ads are run by three different people. We run them as one loop:

  1. Shoot. Menu, drinks, room and people, planned by MKD Films.
  2. Post. An always-on feed and stories that make people hungry and keep regulars coming back.
  3. Promote. Meta ads aimed at people who can actually visit, order or book.
  4. Measure. Reservations, messages, orders and covers, not just likes.
  5. Repeat. Next month’s shoot planned around what sold.
02 — Services

What we do for restaurants, bars and food brands

Openings and pre-launch

A countdown plan that builds a waitlist before the doors open: teaser content, launch-week ads and a soft-opening shoot.

Menu launches and seasonal menus

New dishes shot, written up and pushed to the right people, with a paid plan behind the launch.

Always-on social media

A monthly calendar for feed, Reels and stories, community management and messages routed to reservations.

Events and guest shifts

Guest-bartender nights, chef collaborations and anniversaries, promoted to fill the room and covered for content.

Delivery and takeout

Delivery-app images and campaigns that push orders on the days the dining room is quiet.

Brand and art direction

A look that makes the brand recognisable before anyone reads the name, applied across menu, feed and ads.

03 — Meta ads

Meta ads for restaurants that fill tables

For most restaurants in the Philippines, Facebook and Instagram ads are the fastest lever you can pull. What works:

  • Radius targeting around each branch, so budget reaches people who can realistically come in.
  • Click-to-Messenger and WhatsApp campaigns for reservations and group bookings.
  • Short vertical video of the food, not stock graphics with a discount sticker.
  • Always-on retargeting to people who engaged with the page, watched a Reel or visited the site.
  • Budgets that flex around payday weekends, holidays and events.

04 — Calendar

Plan around the Philippine F&B calendar

MomentWhenWhat to plan
Payday weekendsAround the 15th and 30thOffers, set menus and ad pushes when spending peaks
Valentine’s DayFebruarySet menus, early reservations, couples content
SummerMarch to MayCold drinks, lighter menus, travel-season content
Rainy seasonJune to OctoberComfort food, delivery and indoor dining
The “ber” months and ChristmasSeptember to DecemberGroup bookings, holiday menus, company parties: the longest peak of the year
New Year and Lunar New YearJanuary to FebruaryCelebrations, family dining, lucky menus

We build each month’s content and ad plan around these moments, plus your own: anniversaries, new branches and menu changes.

05 — Metrics

Restaurant marketing metrics that matter

  • Reservations and covers, by channel and campaign.
  • Messages and enquiries, and what each one costs from paid.
  • Delivery orders on campaign days versus normal days.
  • Group and event bookings, especially through the Christmas season.
  • Content that sells: the dishes people save, share and ask about.

Likes and followers are reported, but they are not the goal. Full tables are.

07 — FAQ

Restaurant marketing FAQs

What does a restaurant marketing agency do?

It plans and runs the channels that bring guests in: content and food photography, social media, paid ads, launches and events, and the reporting that shows what is filling tables. At MK Digital one team does all of it.

How much should a restaurant spend on marketing?

Many restaurants set aside a few percent of sales for marketing, and more around openings and launches. A better starting point is what a new regular is worth to you over a year, and working back to what you can afford to spend to win one.

Do Facebook ads work for restaurants in the Philippines?

Yes, when they are local, visual and tied to an action such as a booking, a message or an order. Broad campaigns with generic graphics are where most restaurant ad budgets are wasted.

Can you handle a restaurant opening?

Yes. We plan pre-launch content, shoot the space and the menu before opening, run launch-week ads and manage the first months of social media.

Do you shoot the food as well?

Yes. MKD Films handles food and drink photography and video in-house. See our food photography page.

Do you work with multi-branch groups?

Yes. For groups with several brands or branches we plan a calendar per brand with shared shoot days, and split ad budgets by location so each branch is measured on its own.
